Ecological Reserve Ojos de Indígenas

It is one of the Dominican natural reserves where you will enjoy the most with your family.

This reserve is one of the best kept secrets among the tourist attractions of Punta Cana. It is a protected natural park made up of more than 600 hectares of tropical forests and freshwater lagoons. The name of the park comes from these lagoons, since for the aborigines they were the eyes of the jungle.

You can enter the jungle following the marked trails, which will lead you to springs, mangroves and, in short, pure nature.

Inside, you can see a great variety of Flora and Fauna species, as well as the 12 springs (lagoons) formed by the flowering of the Yauya underground river, due to the geological characteristics of the place.

Taking a ride on a catamaran or horseback riding along the beaches are some of the activities you can do in the Ecological Reserve "Ojos Indígenas".
